Frequently Asked Questions

What is the cost for the Spring Camp and the Summer Camp?

Thanks to a special grant from the Early Learning Coalition, we are excited to offer a free camp for Spring Break and for the first half of summer.  All families are welcome to participate, regardless of family income.

What are the hours for camp?

Families can choose a morning camp session (8 to 12) or a full day camp (8 to 3) for free.  Add on extended day in the morning (from 7:30 to 8:00 am) or later afternoon (3:00 to 5:00) for a small fee.

What is included in the camp?

All planned activities are included in the camp (see camp pages for details about planned activities) as well as breakfast, lunch and snack (with lots of fresh, organic ingredients).

Are there any extra costs?

Meals, tuition and activities are all included in the camp.  School age children will have a transportation fee for field trips since transportation is not covered by the grant.  There is a $25 registration fee for each child for camp.

Why does the free summer camp end on June 28th?

The grant that is funding camps must be utilized by the end of the fiscal year, so the funding for camp is only available until June 28th.

Can we attend in July for the second half of summer?

We would love to have your family join us for the second half of summer!  When you register for camp, let us know that you will be attending in July.  Then, just pay a tuition deposit to hold your space in July.

Are camps for current students only?

Thanks to the generous grant from the Early Learning Coalition, we are inviting current families, former families and new families to participate in the camps.

Do you accept volunteers?

Yes, volunteers are welcome!  We have many exciting activities planned and we would love to have families participate.  Let us know that you are interested in volunteering and we will sign you up for a new volunteer orientation!

Do you have VPK Summer Camp?

This summer, we will be offering a free camp for all children ages 2 to 12 from May 28th to June 28th.  Because of the grant, we will not have a VPK summer camp.  Children with a VPK certificate are welcome to join us this summer for our amazing summer camp!
