Frequently Asked Questions

What is the cost for the Spring Camp and the Summer Camp?

The cost of summer camp depends on the age of the child and the schedule selected.

We did apply for a grant to provide free tuition for families this summer.  Unfortunately, the funding was not available for any schools in our community.  We did receiving funding for special learning activities, and we are excited to plan an amazing summer for the children!

Are there funds to help pay for camp?

We did not receive grant money for tuition this summer, but we do accept several funding sources for summer camps:

  • Summer VPK is FREE with a VPK certificate from the Early Learning Coalition

  • School Readiness covers a portion of tuition (available from the Early Learning Coalition)

  • FES-UA Scholarship may cover a our specialized inclusion program

What are the hours for camp?

Choose the schedule that works for you:  morning camp session (8 to 12), a full day camp (8 to 3), or extended day (7:30 to 5:00).  We will also offer a limited number of part time spaces for two or three days per week.

What is included in the camp?

Thanks to a special grant from the Early Learning Coalition, we are excited to offer many special events this summer.  We have guest speakers visiting the school, art experiences, STEM activities, and so much more!  All planned activities are included in the camp (see camp pages for details about planned activities) as well as breakfast, lunch and snack (with lots of fresh, organic ingredients).

Are there any extra costs?

Our Summer Camp Fee will cover the cost of all special activities.  The cost is $200 for school age children and $100 for preschool age children.

Are camps for current students only?

It's going to be an amazing summer, and we are inviting current families, former families and new families to participate in the camps.

Do you accept volunteers?

Yes, volunteers are welcome!  We have many exciting activities planned and we would love to have families participate.  Let us know that you are interested in volunteering and we will sign you up for a new volunteer orientation!
