Children's Board of Hillsborough County

The Children's Board of Hillsborough County Maintains a list of community agencies on their website.

Early Learning Coalition of Hillsborough County

Learn about VPK (Voluntary PreKindergarten), School Readiness (tuition assistance for lower income families), and family-friendly events at the Early Learning Coalition's website.

Hispanic Services Council

The Hispanic Services Council provides support and mentoring for Latino families in Hillsborough County.  Here is a link to their programs and services.

School Choice Options for Families

Step Up for Students offers several scholarship options for children and families, including:

 

  • FES-EO: The Family Empowerment Scholarship for Educational Opportunities allows children in kindergarten and above to receive a scholarship for private school tuition and for other educational needs.  There are no income restrictions for this scholarship.

  • FES-UA: The Family Empowerment Scholarship for Unique Abilities allows children ages three years old and up to receive a scholarship for private school tuition and for other educational needs.  There are no income restrictions for this scholarship.

Autism Speaks

The nonprofit Autism Speaks maintains a list of community resources for each state of agencies and organizations to support families with children diagnosed with autism.
