One of our favorite traditions at First Discoveries is our annual Trike-a-Thon! The kids get the opportunity to use a trike from school or bring one from home and ride together. Not only is this so much fun for our students, families, and teachers, but it is also a great way to teach bicycle safety.

One of the best parts of this event is how it helps kids who are not at First Discoveries. Our Trike-a-Thon is actually part of St. Jude's national Trike-a-Thon program. Each year we encourage our parents to sponsor their child by donating to St. Jude. We are proud to say that we have helped raise hundreds of dollars for children in need through this event!
